That Theo winds up in the skilled medical hands, and eventually skilled romantic arms, of Dr. Grant Andrews, a 42-year-old silver fox who rescues him from a hilarious sexual happenstance and then tries to rescue him from a life filled with self-loathing, is both circumstantial but felicitous for we, the readers.Settling in on the sidelines from time-to-time is Theo's cousin Blair, who is a hoot and a holler (and who continues to be so for another book in the series) and one or two others Mostly, however, this is a tete-a-tete between two very lonely individuals who fall into a fiery and somewhat frustrating relationship that is mostly behind-the-scenes in terms of sexual contact, but always honest in emotional expression.That their relationship reaches a point where only serendipity can rescue it is a given; that it happens in a totally unexpected way is another reason why Romeo Alexander is rapidly climbing the list of my go-to authors. Grant and Theo might not be my favourite couple in the series, but it's still a great book and a good story,I really liked Grants gentle personality and how he instinctively know what Theo needed. And Theo did a wonderful job of getting some colour back in Grants life.
