Ebook About
Nira. Astrum Industries’ newest charted planet. Freshly discovered. Wholly unexplored. But that won’t be the case for long. Led by Captain Alec Hamlin, a team of explorers make an emergency landing and are soon confronted by their first Niran native. A huge male Kríe packed with muscle and bearing small, black horns and fangs. Fortunately, he’s friendly. Or so he lets them believe. With the help of his pack, the Kríe takes Alec’s team captive, intending to sell them for profit. But these Nirans aren’t just shrewd, they’re arrogant and domineering. And most of all, extremely sexual. Which explains why, on their journey to peddle their new wares, they feed Alec’s team a powerful aphrodisiac. Nothing like some decadent entertainment on the side. Soon the team finds themselves feverishly trying to resist the growing urge to get physical with their captors. But as passion prevails and unexpected bonds form, so much more is suddenly at stake. With no time left, will a shift in Kríe perspective be enough to change the fate of Alec’s team?Warning: Contains mild dub/con elements, and explicitly scorching gay sex with exotic and shamelessly kinky males of otherworldly descent. Excerpt (for adults only):Alec roused to the crackle and popping of a fire… and the sound of more than one Gesh-like voice. Eyelids not quite ready to open, he shifted with a groan. Then froze. Somehow he was sitting upright but couldn’t move. Not much at least, thanks to something holding him secure by his throat and chest. Heart instantly back to hammering, he forced his eyes to open so he could get busy assessing what the fuck. Slowly, his blurry vision started to clear. It was nighttime and, oh God, he was tied to a tree.Instinctively, he tugged at his snugly tied hands. But when his wrists and forearms grazed his crotch, he made another startling discovery. His dick was literally hard as rock, and his nut sac felt kind of swollen, too. What the fuck? Had he been having a wet dream while knocked out cold? Talk about messed up timing.Warily, he lifted his eyes to his surroundings. A dozen yards away, poking at a campfire, Gesh sat talking to… another Kríe. Alec sucked in a breath as his eyes focused more. Oh, hell. Make that three other Kríe. And all of them were ransacking the team’s rucksacks! Alec glowered, until five more Kríe strode into view. Aw, fuck. Tied up and totally outnumbered. Gesh spotted him watching and sauntered over. Grinning, the big fucker squatted down in front of him, his skin looking black in the firelight. “Alec,” he greeted, his rich timbre smug. “Asshole,” Alec irritably returned.Gesh canted his head, his expression amused, then reached out and ran a claw down Alec’s forearm. Not hard enough to draw blood, but enough to warrant Alec’s attention. Because that black fucker was sharp and could definitely do damage. Alec watched the thing until Gesh used it to lift Alec’s chin, forcing Alec’s gaze back to his. Alec studied his face, his features inexplicably attractive, that tiny dark gold hoop through his nasal septum only adding to his exotic appeal. And God, up close, his golden eyes were amazing. Even if Alec was pissed at the guy. They were stunning. Damn near hypnotizing. Especially with his black pupils all dilated like that. Again, Gesh’s lips curved into a grin. “I was impatient for you to wake, Alec. Was impatient for us to talk.” Alec blinked, then froze. Holy shit. Gesh spoke English. But wait. No way was that possible. Gesh chuffed out a laugh, his grin expanding until thick fangs dropped into view. Wow, for such a bastard, the Kríe had a great smile. The way those full, dark lips made the white of his teeth pop…Alec squeezed his eyes shut and tried to clear his head. God, not only was he hearing things, but wearing rose-colored glasses, too. Gesh did not have a great smile. Gesh was a backstabbing prick.

Book Kríe Captivity (The Nira Chronicles Book 1) Review :

3/4 of the way through reading Book 1, I was ready to give this book three stars and not purchase Book 2. I wasn't ready for what seemed to be an entire book about heterosexual guys being transformed into gay guys. POSSIBLE SPOILERS: Didn't matter to me that their captors were purple; the food would allow the humans to speak with the aliens; that the good guys were captured (but never forced). But as I neared the end of the book, I realized that this book was basically scene and character setting for Book 2. And when I did purchase Book 2 (which I'm 1/3 through now), I realized just how creative this author truly is. This is my first book of hers and WOW! You have to read Book 1 to get Book 2. Yes, Book 1 does leave you wanting more about the alien universe, who these people are, what are the other beings/animals that the Krie keep insisting the humans wouldn't survive, etc. Well, read Book 2. It's lengthy and I don't know if there's a Book 3 planned (hoping with the length of Book 2 it's the end of this series) but from where I am right now, I'd purchase Book 3. So don't let the encounters in Book 1 keep you from buying Book 2: it's fabulous!
This book belongs to the d*****-out-by-an-alien genre. The M/M edition. And call me kinky, but it was actually pretty entertaining.Obviously, this is not a book meant for everyone . But it works for open-minded people who enjoy Sci-Fi and supernatural reads. And also like to read about D. There’s soooo much D in this book it’s a bit unreal.I liked the general world-building in Kríe Captivity . But then, I’m a total Sci-Fi fan, so I’ll take an alien society any day. Unfortunately, since the focus of this story is on the carnal activity, the descriptions of the alien world are kept at a very superficial level. For example, there are quite a few highly evolved species on the planet, but only the Kríe species is depicted in any detail.I’m not sure how to properly describe the shenanigans going on in this book. But since it’s so central to the story, I need to give it a try. It’s safe to say that said shenanigans didn’t exactly appeal to me. There’s no non-con, so that was good. But apart from that, the s***-times were one part blueballs and one part weird and uncomfortable . But I don’t judge. I’m sure there are plenty of people who enjoy reading about bondage, orgies, all sort of things stuffed into orifices and consumption of bodily fluids. There were a few odd things about Kríe Captivity though. First of all, the choice of POV was a bit strange . The entire story – apart from the first chapter – was told from the POV of the team leader, Alec. But it’s one of the other guys who actually falls in love with an alien. Sort of. So, personally, I would have preferred Noah, the scientist who falls for the alien Gesh, to be the narrator of the story. Then there was the first chapter . It features a whole other team of humans, a rescue team come to help the ones who crashed. But they’re only ever mentioned in the beginning of the book and then forgotten. On the other hand, since this is a cliff-hanger, they’ll probably return in the sequel. But the cliff-hanger got me quite irritated. Because there’s not even a hint of a partial closure in the end of Kríe Captivity. So unless you’re planning on reading the entire series – don’t start this book! All in all, this was entertaining as heck. Not particularly hot, but still a fun read in a wholly inappropriate way.
